What a wonderful trip...i love aceh!
Hey there... due to overwhelming demand, i shall write my blog again...hehe.. okay, for now, im gonna talk abt the aceh trip... To be honest, it was the most wonderful trip i have ever been.. Aceh is a fantastic place... Even tho its not as modern as Singapore, im still amazed by the way the pple there lived their lives..For the first few days there, i was kind of worried and scared.. I guess not only me, but all my frens too ... coz we're basically not mentally prepared n we didnt noe wat to expect there.. When we finally reached Aceh, we were shocked... we were hit by the culture shock syndrome..haha.. yes we are... it was way different than singapore.. its like going back to the past.. its like seeing singapore in the 1960s..haha.. seriously.. its really backward seh... My first experience was to see black, murky water coming out of the tap from my hotel room...gosh that was soo gross.. and the smell of mud... it was really really freaking gross... from that point, i was really worried.. in my mind, all i cud think of was how am i gonna bath and wash myself... but as days goes by, we all got used to it i suppose... we have to right..hehe.. Luckily for me, i had a group of fantastic and wonderful roommates in muzhafar, hazmi, hafiz and lokman.. they juz made my stay dere much much more interesting... And yea, our room was like the focal point for all the guys there.. noe why? because... we were the only room that had TV..haha. but it was fun tho.. all of them come to our room and talk crap all night.. we wud go on laughing our arse off...i miss those days seh... it made us grow closer to each other.. and one thing i like abt this trip was, for the whole 2 weeks, we got to noe each other better and closer.. we wud noe one's bad habit, their temper...etc.. one thing i hate was that some of them are trying to ''kill'' each other by talking bad abt the rest.. it was like childish, to the point that i dun even bother... but to me thats part and parcel of living together...u have to live with one's attitude.. its more of a give and take thingy.. hrmm...there were ups and downs during the trip.. Overall, the trip was wonderful... it was an eye opener for all of us, that some things in life has to be appreciated.. we have to appreciate things we hav here... the pple in Aceh may nt be rich, but they have a rich heart.. i will always remember the pple there...the frens i made and the kids there... :)
